Sark better get this cleaned up though. They were lucky to hold on after having a 27-7 lead, just like the UH game two weeks ago where they let a 21-0 lead almost slip away.

I would like Sark to understand that he has a dominant defense and coach accordingly. There are times he needs to throw his “All Gas, No Brakes” mantra out the window. Maalik Murphy is a freshman QB making his second career start. When you have the ball in the red zone and it’s 4th and 2 with the score 17-0 in your favor, take the field goal. When it’s 2nd and 5 and you have the ball inside the K-State 30 with 6:45 remaining and Murphy’s struggling, continue to run the ball and attempt to bleed the clock while putting the onus on your offensive line to get your offense in the end zone.
Kansas State had 21 points from short fields (a blocked punt to the Texas 42, an interception return inside the Texas 15 and a fumble around the Texas 30). The Texas’ defense was by far the best unit on the field between both teams, and they are the reason Texas can potentially win the Big 12 and make the College Football Playoff. Texas needs to highly value protecting the football, and they will be a tough team to beat.

I was surprised they went for it because Murphy wasn’t playing well enough to convince me Texas was scoring a touchdown in the second overtime.
But, the Texas’ defense dominated them all game. Kansas State only scored 9 points (should have been 13) without the benefit of short fields from three turnovers. They got also got stopped twice on first and goal inside the 10.
Great play by a Florida State defensive back to stop a touchdown.
Aggies have lost 4+ games in 5 of the 6 Jimbo years

True but if Texas wins out, 12-1 Texas with a win at Bama and the only loss being a last second loss to OU, is very likely in the playoff. Unless there are 4 undefeated P5 teams
