For me, Texas is “back” when they bring strong, consistent efforts week after week, regardless of opponent. That means handling weaker opposition.
UH had one fucking penalty all day and it was a UH WR pulling the helmet off a UT dback.

It was a fun atmosphere. Been a long time since a Coogs game was an “event.” Great comeback, and the team showed great heart, but what a god awful call on 4th and 1. It was hard to walk away without a bad taste in my mouth after that. That pretty much sums up the Holgorsen era.

So let’s sum up Michigan State:
- Fired their coach for cause when he was found to have masturbated in phone calls with a rape survivor who spoke to the team about consent
- Losing 42-0 to their rival
- Had to apologize in the middle of that loss for putting up trivia questions about Hitler on their video board
