I’m still in a little bit of shock this morning.
Rereading this thread was fun
Good. Texas has to play consistently well every week to prove they are “back.” We knew they would show up for Alabama, just like they did last year and LSU the year before. The key is bringing similar efforts against the teams they are expected to beat.
Ugly wins are still wins
Bill Barnwell:
From 2018-22, NCAA teams who turned the ball over four times and failed to record 15 first downs in a game went 1-65.
Make that 2-65. Auburn ended the night with 4 turnovers and 12 first downs but beat Cal 14-10. Auburn held Cal to just 3 points on 4 trips to the red zone. It helped that the Cal kicker missed 3 field goals.
I was feeling better about our chances this season until we played last night/this morning (9:30 central kicks are terrible)
This is certainly a quote you don’t want about your football coach:
Tucker “acknowledged masturbating on the call but said Tracy grossly mischaracterized the episode”
The accuser is a person brought in to speak to the team about sexual misconduct/ harassment.
And who has spoken to most cfb teams on the subject.
Looks like he’s toast.
He’s fired.
I’m genuinely curious as to how one could “mischaracterize” masturbation.
“Yes, I was masturbating, but it’s not what it looks like…”
He never should have hired Louis CK for his defense team.
He said it was “consensual phone sex”
I swear that’s not my cock on that zoom call
The whole Larry Nasser situation makes this even more disgusting for him.
Mizzou kicker Harrison Mevis belted a 61 yard walk off FG to take down Kansas St. He even had the leg for a bit more too
FSU didn’t look very good vs a really bad Boston College team but escaped with a 2 point win
Pretty blah schedule of games today.
I’m going to guess the 1st half deficits by Georgia and Alabama aren’t going to hold up.
Agreed but it’s weeks like this where all hell tends to break loose, I’ll still be watching
It’s actually harder for me, because the league/contest I play in picks against the spread, and weeks like this bring a bunch of games with 20+ point spreads. I find those harder to pick than close games.
I don’t usually touch games with 20+ point spreads unless I like the dog. I am in one of those leagues too, not much fun
South Carolina up 14-3 on Georgia
Rice is a 35 1/2 point favorite over TSU? How is that possible?
