Teams might meet at halftime to decide weapons

An air ball is just a missed shot. Hell, an air ball won the title for NCState in '83. But, they are getting killed on 3pnt misses. They are over 50% on shots at mid-range and in the paint. They got another run and the 3pnt shots should start falling. Also, Florida isn’t going easy. They got a lot of fight.

“In Texas We Like Our Gator Cooked”, sign behind Barkley at halftime

There was (may still be 15+ years later) a viet-cajun place on Westheimer around Wilcrest that had “alligator wings”, which were the forearm fried and sauced. They were pretty damn good, never seen that since

Florida against Tennessee this year. Florida won in Gainesville by 30, Tennessee won in Knoxville by 20.

They’ve had several great comeback wins in the past month. But not today.

Way too soon.

Their best player, and one of the best in the country, just started getting going at the end of the half. This is going to be an intense twenty minutes.

Gator ain’t bad.

Houston has exactly 0 second chance points. That’s gotta change.

Winning offensive rebounds 6-4 but losing second chance points 0-7. That’s wild.

Hopefully they keep getting the second chance opportunities.

Already calling things tighter.

Richard decided to go full Draymond on those 2 possessions (to his credit he didn’t kick anyone in the nuts), both were obvious fouls

No shit. Almost like they brought in a different crew of officials at the half.

Passing up a layup for a 3 may be the way of the game now, but doing so on the ass end of an 8-0 run is poor basketball.

Also: I really enjoy the Cougar defense.

Well, there’s no way Florida committed only one foul in the first half.

Oh good.

Another commercial break.

Do the coaches know when the tv timeouts are scheduled, like they do in regular games?

These last 15 minutes of game time will take nearly two hours.

There’s that loose ball floor drill that they practice…what a play by Sharp
