College Basketball 24-25

I saw that too…basically said “we were in a little boy conference and being in the Big12 made us grow up and get tough”

Houston executed brilliantly the final 34 seconds of that game. It started with Sharp’s three. Then, they had the steal on the inbounds and the dunk. It ended with fouling the right guy in Proctor, and Roberts boxing out Flagg on missed free throw.

Congrats to the Coogs and their fans.

It was 1984, when the last time the University of Houston Cougars basketball team (lead by Hakeem) played in the championship game. Also in 1983 but I don’t like to think about that. Hoping third time is the charm.

Nothing happened in 1983. Not a single fucking thing.

Why the fuck do their name haunt me still?

Never heard of em

…oh there are so many other years for Houston sports too

Coogs outscored Dook 42 - 33 in the second half.

For the game, the Cougars were 10 - 22 from 3pt (Duke 7 - 17) and 23 of 61 overall (Duke 21-53) Houston had 42 rebounds to Dukes 31 and an 8 rebound advantage on the offensive glass. Not that much different in the end than several of the Cougars games this year.

Who do I hate more, Joe Montana or Frank Reich?

So, that was that Flagg guy’s last college game. He played a hell of a game. So did Knueppel,

BTW, we humbly apologize for the Chase Budinger incident.

Congrats to Houston! What an amazing comeback!

Both games showed these were likely the top four teams in college basketball this year.

My heart wanted an Auburn Duke rematch in the finals. My head said it would be Florida v Houston. Looking forward to a great game Monday night.

Great game, and I am happy for you guys. I feel bad for Flagg. That foul was a soft bad call. Kudos to the Coogs for hanging in when all looked lost.
