College Basketball 24-25

Florida hit four 3 pointers in a row to take a one point lead.

Florida moving on.

Well poop.

That was a heart-breaker. Final margin was five points as Florida hit all their free throws. Tech had the tying open shot with about 10 seconds, but missed.

FT matter

Florida hit a couple of ridiculous 3pt.

The goofy blond 7’er killed Tech

They provided the margin, but the four consecutive rim-clanking three pointers won the game.

Tech outscored 18-6 in the last three minutes.

Shotmaking is the ultimate deodorant.

I’m aware.

Tech missed 2 open 3s and the front-end of 2 1-1s in the final 2 minutes

Perhaps not everyone reading this thread was, however.

Those two missed free throws were key, no doubt. If they harvest three points from those two possessions, the outcome would have likely been different.

Tech was doomed when the Florida guard got into the middle of the lane and had an uncontested 10-footer, said “nah” and ran out to the 3-point line, took a step-back 3-pointer, and hit it. When that kind of shit happens, it’s just not your night.

Yep, that was a major “oh shit” moment

Heck of a showing from Tech. I thought they might have been gassed from that late night OT game 2 nights ago. They gave Florida all they wanted.

Duke running roughshod over Alabama.

I thought Bama’s depth and athleticism would cause problems for Duke

Not so much yet. Duke is better than I thought. 9 pt lead at halftime means nothing though.

Still a lot of basketball left and the game is closer than it feels like it should be. Alabama looks sloppy, and you can’t be sloppy against Duke. They need to tighten it up.

Apparently Duke is incapable of committing a foul, no matter what.

The emergence of this 7’2” giant on Duke definitely changes the game. Somebody else might beat these guys, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

If you’re talking about the 7’2" freshman Maluach, he’ll be a lottery pick next draft if he wants to be.

Knueppel is also a freshman player who gets overlooked, also a lottery pick if he chooses.
