Flemings played a superb game but he was getting tired towards the end. His last few missed shots were clanking off the front of the rim. Everyone on both teams were wearing down. Still, he shot an amazing14-24, 3P 4-8, FT 8-10 for 40 points.

Saw a graphic that Wagler at Illinois and Flemings today was the first time two players scored 40 against a top 20 team on the road since 1969. The last time was Pete Maravich and Rudy Tomjanovich.

Tech has games at Arizona, at Iowa State, and at BYU left on the schedule as well as a home game against Kansas.
