Three extra base hits (so far) in the top of the third. Imai sucks, but I greatly prefer this one to the one that gives up the same number of runs by walking and hitting batters.
Lambert, that guy who was so good the other day, wasn’t on the opening day roster but this guy was.
The Astros are out of challenges in the top of the 5th yet somehow it’s only 3-2 Guardians.

Imai is still wildly unpredictable and inconsistent
But 6 innings 11 Ks and 0 walks will play
And retired the last 11 he faced after giving up the lead on a HR in the 3rd.

AL Central fundamentals awful across the board.
It’s conceivable that any team (not the Angels) that goes on a 10 game winning streak or 15-5 run could easily win the division. The mediocrity-based parity is striking.
