Day baseball is a good thing.

Hunter Brown v Luis Castillo

Pena SS
Yordan DH
Paredes 3B
Altuve 2B
Varsho CF
Walker 1B
Trammell RF
Diaz C
Wade LF

Wasn’t watching the top1 but it went 4-3, K, 1B+SB, F9

Woof…Pena and Yordan self-abused by pitches well out of the zone (both K swinging)

Paredes gets jobbed on a called strike that’s 6 inches high (no challenge), ends up walking 8 pitches later

Altuve!

lol…Altuve hits a FB at eye-level deep into the Crawfords for a 2-run jack!

Pena doesn’t pick up an error, but his wide throw on a DP ball ends up costing Brown a run.

Make that two runs.

This is a very annoying half-inning, and Hunter didn’t even walk anybody.

It ain’t the dog days anymore fellas.

Tighten up the defense.

With 1 out and a runner on first, the ball only left the infield once and they scored twice.

Peña’s recent throwing performance is worrying.

I’m more concerned about his batting, although both are troubling.

If he’s looking for a monster, long term contract I certainly hope he gets it.

The 4 hits that inning were 86, 51, 89, 94 mph

When he’s good, he’s really, really good. But I would also have no problem with him being traded this offseason, a la Tucker

Nice recovery by Hunter

What’s the proper thread to ask @Das questions about this weirdass storm in East Texas?

Couple of bounces favored the Chisox this inning but a run is in.

Paredes had a HR in 0 of 30 parks, but in how many was it a 2B?

Nice play on a fortuitous bounce off the wall by CWS LF to keep the 2nd run from scoring.

Varsho!

Took out the 5 iron and sent it towards the green

He scorned the shit out of that ball!
