I don’t believe that’s happening either. I do think Big XII refs are not very good, although they’ve been better this year than last. I’ve noticed most fans think the refs are biased against their favorite team.
Always good to watch OU lose.

Oklahoma misses their OT field goal and Texas Tech hits theirs. Final is 51-48 Texas Tech over Oklahoma in a thriller!
It’s a big win for Tech as it is their first winning year (7-5) in a long time and their first winning conference record (5-4) in even longer. Sweetest of all: first time ever to beat UT and OU in the same season.

I’m sorry, Jim, I don’t follow. I don’t personally believe Big XII (or any other) refs are biased against Tech, but I admit many (“most” may have been too strong a word) Tech fans do. I’ve noticed the same belief in fans of every other team, too.
You missed my point entirely, but never mind. I was not talking about Texas Tech at all.
Wisconsin hired Luke Fickell away from Cincy. That’s a great move for them.
Isn’t this the weakest array of teams top to bottom in the Big 12 in a long time?
I think the middle class was much stronger for much of the year, but a couple teams (Okie Lite especially) really faltered in the second half.

Probably just feels that way because they beat up on each other a lot this year. The B12 went 25-5 outside of B12 play. The bottom of the conference was super strong, if you watched Iowa State, that is not a terrible team and they went 4-8 and 1-8 in B12 play. There was no Kansas level doormat this year.

There were no easy conference games this year and Big XII teams only get three non-cons. Most Big XII teams, to their credit, don’t play more than one “easy” non-con. OU had a down year, but TCU is likely playoff bound and Iowa State is better than some bowl teams.
Next year the Cougars will probably go winless in Big 12 conference play. Holgorsen will see to it.
So Auburn did it. They have divided the fan base by hiring Hugh Freeze. Not a fan of this hire.

I am not happy about the hire but I am struck at the inconsistency of sports media and fans. If only he had gone through the Saban rehab program like other coaches, everything would be forgiven now.
The Nick Saban Witness Protection Program also nearly included Hugh Freeze — earlier this year Saban all but confirmed he had intended to hire Freeze, the scandal-tarred former Mississippi head coach, before the Southeastern Conference blocked it
I don’t really care about his prior issues, but anyone choosing to work for Liberty can kiss my ass.
