CFB 2022

That is such an odd score.

No Missouri is not very good. Not sure what to make of Georgia after last week and now this

If Missouri had their shit together in the red zone this game is tied.

Espn Gameday will be in Lawrence next weekend for the epic BigXII showdown between unbeaten Kansas and unbeaten TCU

Oops.

Wisconsin fired their football coach. They haven’t fired a football coach since 1989.

The other early firings make some sense. This one is a head-scratcher.

The guy is a Wisconsin alum, he had a 67-26 record as head coach for the Badgers. Was 5 and 1 in bowl games. His .739 winning percentage is tied for the second best winning percentage of any coach in the school’s history (AD Alvarez was .609 as their head coach). But Chryst started the season 0-2 in Big10 play and that is totally unacceptable.

Plus they haven’t looked like Wisconsin the last few years. Got ran off the field by the hated Bret Bielema and Illinois, who look more like Wisconsin than Wisconsin does.

Maybe they pulled the trigger too early and you look back at Chryst as Wisconsin’s Bo Pelini. Only time will tell.

You mean Nebraska’s Bo Pelini?

Anyways, other than the fact that you’re shitting on one of your best coaches historically, it’s also a big risk. As Nebraska found out, changing the formula is dangerous.

Chryst understood Wisconsin’s football reality: what’s the best option given we can’t recruit a lot of skill players? Recruit what we can, good O line, good D line, LBs and some tight ends, and HOPE to grab a good RB, a good WR and maybe a DB or two. I think they’ve missed on the good skill players lately but that’s hardly a reason to can him.

Also, if they plan on sticking with Leonard as a HC, good luck. He’s unproven and at the end of the day, you’re just trading uncertainty for a known quantity.

Yes, if Wisconsin goes the way of Nebraska then Chryst becomes the Wisconsin Pelini.

Is that a sandwich?

I think it’s a type of cheese.

Sooooo Nebraska is technically in first place in the B1G west. That side of the B1G is so fucking weak it’s ridiculous. If there was ever a confrence that needs to get rid of divisions, its that one. At least the SEC has had Georgia in the east and Florida and Tennessee can be good. Nobody in the west can even compete with Ohio State Michigan or Penn State most years

Wow, what a wild one in Memphis. A fun watch.

Rutgers was so undeserving of a B1G invite. They are one of the weakest public universities in a power 5 conference.

Post Season baseball and a bunch of good college football games, gonna have to bring a second television into my den today.
