Carlos Correa

Does that mean the physical revealed PEDs? Any of us might still have a shot with Daniella??

HAHAHAHA!

Sure, because Carlos was the only thing stopping that.

I don’t understand where all this renewed Correa hate is coming from. Has he spoken out in some annoying way? I only read a write-up on mlbtraderumors. I gather the Giants decided to go another direction and so team Correa took the next best offer.

And I don’t see shenanigans in Cohen’s comment re: “picking up where [they] left off” either. Am I missing something?

He’ll never be the hitter the Rodriguez was.

What an indictment of Bob Nutting. Storied franchise, great baseball city, beautiful ballpark, zero commitment to building a winner.

Explain, please.

He spends no money, trades all his best players before they can make more money, and unlike a team like the Rays, doesn’t hire smart people to win without spending

Ok, I had to look up who he is. The shift in the conversation threw me off the car.

That’s basically it, plus they sit back and collect revenue sharing money from the other clubs without putting that money toward winning players.

His nickname is “Bottom-Line Bob”.

Correa probably should have played 3b from the outset. NY should sign Bagwell to 1b and lock down the corners

I do not know how anyone with eyes could say this.

I don’t have the numbers in front of me, but I’m guessing the Mets have spent more this off-season than the Pirates have in their franchise history.

Lol. They hired a guy with haphephobia to do the pat downs

The diligence in that physical will resemble the diligence in verifying Trump’s collateral.

That was from the predraft Baseball America article I referenced earlier. They thought 3b was an option for the reasons addressed in this thread.

If he’s injury-prone, then his playing position is of greater import.

The Mets have laid out $806 million this off-season; astonishing
