Pretty unforgivable that Espada trotted out his reclimation project to protect a 1 run lead late.
I am coming to really despise his management style.
God damnit what a fucking frustrating and completely avoidable loss.
And no chance they take both of the next 2.

For those who missed it, Abreu entered the 8th with a 1 run lead and promptly walked the first 2 hitters.
I know folks reading the GZ are swift enough to assume that but I felt it needed to be stated explicitly for the record.

Walked them on 8 pitches. Then a fly ball to center on a spinning slider at the top of/just above the zone that advanced the runner on 2nd to 3rd.
Both medium depth throws, CF to 3rd and RF to home were… lackluster to say the least.
