Tonight’s lineup randomizer:

LF Altuve
DH Alvarez
3b Paredes
SS Pena
1b Walker
2b Rodgers
C Diaz
CF Meyers
RF Smith

P Blanco

I’m drinking a Negroni. Hope that helps.

Negroni y Blanco with an easy 1-2-3 including a couple popups

Walker!

Altuve laces one of Will Wagner’s glove at first, bounces to 2b who throws it between his two guys at first for an infield hit

Yordan bloops in front of the LF, Altuve to 2b

Paredes to 0-2, fouls a couple, takes one down and away, drives it the other way to Springer, Altuve to third on the productive out

Pena works to a 2-2 count, fouling a couple more off at the plate, tapper to third, easily beaten out for the RBI single, Yordan to 2b, 1-0 Astros

Walker smashes one up the middle, Bassit barely dodges it, it caroms off the second base bag into RF for an RBI single, Pena to third. 2-0 Astros

Rodgers lines to LF, plenty deep enough, Pena tags and scores. 3-0 Astros

Diaz lines out to 2b but a good start!

End 1, 3-0 Astros.

Barkeep - another round of Negronis!

Daiquiris and Negronis are good for what ails this offense.

Pena flashing some leather!!

Top 2:

Blanco freezes Springer witha 3-2 slider
Kirk grounds deep in the hole, Pena snags and the jump throw easily gets Kirk
Popup behind the plate ends another easy inning.

Mid 2, 3-0 Astros

Jake with a 2-2 bouncer to third, 1 away
Cam with another ground out to the left side
Altuve drills one down the line but 3b with a slick pickup to make it a 1-2-3 inning

End 2, 3-0 Astros

Was that guy playing on the line already? Altuve hit it hard and right over the bag, but that guy didn’t even have to backhand it.

Jake came into tonight 0-26 with two strikes (now 0-27)

Before 2 strikes, he’s hitting .418

It was almost like no-doubles

Top 3:

Wagner first pitch easy grounder to Paredes
Clement fly ball down foul RF, Cam snags it just before it goes into Dumbass Cove
Lukes launches one to RF, 4-5 rows deep. 3-1 Astros Just a hanger down and in
Bichette pops to CF

Mid 3, 3-1 Astros

I missed who they were talking about becoming a US citizen this week but I think it was Taylor Scott

Diaz is the new Bregman

Top 4:

Yordan quickly down 0-2, sharp one-hopper snagged by Bassitt for an easy throw to first.
Paredes with an easy 6-3
Pena beats out a soft roller to short, he’s 2-2 without leaving the infield
Walker hit on the elbow guard, Bassitt apologizes
Rodgers hit on the hand, Bassitt not controlling his pitches up and in
Yainer swings at a sweeper near the dugout, fouls a sweeper aimed at his knees, takes a sweeper not quite as far away, swings over his head to ground out 4-3

Astros now 3 for 24 on the season with the bases loaded.

End 3, 3-1 Astros

Bregman was Babe fucking Ruth compared to this

I haven’t seen Diaz pop up yet.
