To answer your question…obstruction occurs when a fielder hinders a runner while not in possession of the ball or not in the act of fielding a ball. Guerrero had possession of the ball. It was no different than when a fielder goes to tag a runner. It’s perfectly legal to contact the runner while in possession of the ball.
