Hear me out here… He’s also a fucking prick.

Maybe just a prick.

I am really pissed about this release. Who am I going to hate now?

Bellinger, Pedersen, Turner, Fiers, Stanton, Judge, Betts are a couple of suggestions.

How do you feel about Laureano?

I hope they remain at stalemate, Lindor has another mediocre year and then is forever known as the guy that turned down 10 years at $32.5M per.

Edited to add: two immediate benefits come to mind. 1) we get to continue to laugh at the Mets and 2) CC sees that there is indeed risk to overvaluing oneself.

Don’t hate any of them like I did Odor. He was in a category all his own in my animosity.

Maybe he’ll show up on the A’s. That might kick it up a notch.

I would have hated Odor more but that degree of hate is reserved for good players like Poo-holes.

He’s unique, he is maybe the most unlikable guy in the league AND one of the worst players in the league. Usually you have to be some level of good to be so shitty.

MLB announced that they are pulling the 2021 ASG and draft out of Georgia due to the recent voter suppression bill

Bud Selig ruined the ASG, so playing it makes no difference.

You mean it doesn’t mean anything after all?

It can stand a cancellation. Selig presided over a tie game when position players were called in to pitch, eliminated the mystique of one-game interleague competition, and tied victory to a completely unrelated reward metric; home field WS advantage.

Dumb-ass-shit by Commissioner. He makes Selig look like a HOF-er. Oh wait…nevermind.

I am no fan of Manfred but he simply took the path of least resistance here. I believe his actions avoid a large shit storm of protests that would be a distraction to the festivities.

The players would have boycotted; Manfred got out in front

A baseball reporter (don’t remember who) said that on Twitter this morning. Would’ve been a huge black eye.

I didn’t know that offering the ball back to the pitcher afer he drills you in the ribs was frowned upon.

"The baseball is really hard. And I think it got a rib and probably ticked him off,” said Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright, who was replaced by Woodford. “You never offer the ball back to the pitcher though, that’s tired. He should know better than that.”

According to Wainwright, simply having the audacity to show up and oppose him is a crime against the game. So…
