True, but an expanded pool increases the chances that the hottest team isnât one of the better ones. And Iâm not complaining about Arizona being in thereâŚthems the rules and they earned their spot. Nor am I necessarily against 12 or even 16 teams in the Postseason. But if theyâre expanding the Postseason I do wish theyâd then cut the regular season down a bit. Itâs pointless for it to go from March-October, and I hate ball played in the cold anyway.
I like the expanded postseason and agree the regular season doesnât need to be this long.

This year didnât work out, but the best of 3 format in the wc round is a pretty good way to get compelling drama.

It was a terrible call by whoever called it. You canât go there to Seager unless youâve set him up with outside stuff.
