I’m surprised to read the Astros system is ranked Bottom 5.
Why? There’s almost no high-end talent.
Don’t really think you can compare Barber to McKenna, Barefoot, and Brewer. He’s always been a much better prospect than those three and is also several years younger. That the Astros had him in High A in his first season in the minors (to me) speaks to their expectations of him.
