I guess they’re counting on Chas to carry the load.

Good God that’s a fugly lineup.

The other half of the split squad is playing at 3pm eastern

I guess we’ll find out what kind of glove Whitcomb has.

It looks like this will be a good day to finally sort my button collection. I’ll need a drink first however. Please no bunts towards Framber in the first couple of innings.

Let’s just throw away a game against the fucking White Sox, Joe.

Alvarez better have a massive head wound to be sitting today.

Oof.

I pity the poor guy.

Similar to the way A. Diaz finished out the 2021 season.

“Routine day off” is what Espada said. Why you give your best hitter a day off when one of your other 3 best hitters is out, I can’t even begin to guess

Hey listen you gotta give your DH some time to rest up let’s face it.

Nerd Cave says so

I don’t give a shit how much better the team has played lately, this lineup should get you fired tomorrow.

Jesus Christ, Alvarez better be on his deathbed to not be DHing at least today.

Bregman is out, Framber is pitching, and we’re at home with the short LF.

The only reason Alvarez shouldn’t be out there is if he got caught under a herd of stampeding bison.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Espada commits a fireable offense at least every other game. Friday, it was letting McCormick hit with the winning run in scoring position. Today, it’s letting McCormick hit.

This about 4 rolled into one absolutely dogshit lineup.

I just don’t understand Joe Espada. You have a shallow lineup as it is without Bregman and Tucker. Yordan can rest on the next off day or at least give him his rest day after you get Bregman back. Then, on Friday, he reverts back to hitting Alvarez second, which was an experiment that failed miserably to start the year.
