Pressly strikes out the side!

Astros win 6-3

Boom.

Brown pitched well again.

Any win is a good win.

I do not like Ford at all. He is smooth, but for me, that’s all.

Peña at 2 is BAD. Rally killer.

I like Pena at 2

I do not. Too undisciplined a hitter.

Our best #2 hitter is the Yuli who hits line drives.

If Mancini gets going, we’re probably best with Bregman second and Mancini fourth

Bregman is the RBI guy now, I dunno how you move him up?

I’m all for it though.

I get it. He has also killed pitching while batting 2nd. Or 7th.

I agree it’d be nice if Bregman could hit 2nd.

But what we’ve seen from Mancini is what we’ll get: good power, high strikeouts.

I personally wouldn’t want him in the 4th spot.

I miss Brantley.

He swings at slop. He should be down in the lineup, imo.

I don’t know…I used to think maybe that, but moving Bregman behind Alvarez may be the best lineup move Dusty ever made. I kind of like how that’s played out.

Can’t be overstated.

I think Bregman is the best #2 hitter on the team now that Brantley is hurt.

That said, unless they put Alvarez and Tucker back to back again in the 3 and 4 spots, Alex should probably be at #4.

I would actually not mind seeing Chas hit 2nd vs LH starters.

He has over .400 OB%, less than 19% K rate vs them and has some speed

It would be nice if the team can get a cleanup hitter this off season so Alex could settle in at #2.

Ditto giving McCormick a look in the # 2 spot.

I like Chas, especially his ability to drive balls with power to right.

But I don’t think he’s a top of the order guy.

(Insert jpg of tmw’s lineup card with Chas batting 2nd here)

Against lhp Chas could be a fun option at #2
