Walker has just been a complete disaster.

Yordan had a nice swing on a low middle-away slider and doubled to RCF. So there’s that.

CS on a perfect throw by Diaz erases the leadoff single, then Brown carves up Witt and Pasquantino to end the inning

Total disaster. I don’t give a shit what his defense is. He’s 3-23 with risp. He needs to be batting 8th. What he needs to be is dfa’d.

Today’s lineup is the worst I can remember in a dozen years.

They’ve made Bubic throw 41 pitches in 2 innings, so there’s that.

I don’t know if I’m ready to give up on him yet. He’s been a productive, 25 hr/80 RBI guy. But he needs to get his shit together.

Chas with a leadoff single. Let’s try something different this inning, like not stranding him.

Paredes with a 1-out walk…two on for Yordan…

Back when the offense was formidable I made a semi serious observation that you could flip the lineup and go 9-1 and still go around beating everyone. That observation is valid today, but for different reasons.

KC announcer: “You can’t walk the guy ahead of him, one swing gives them a 3-run lead”

Next pitch we have a 3-run lead. Yordan has looked like Yordan today.

Chas with a leadoff double. Ball kicked around in LCF, but Chas just lollygagging so he can’t move to 3B
