Dotted up strike 3 for the first out.
Next batter, full count, walks.
He needs to dail up the DP pitch.
Peña with a really nice play to get the runner at 2nd.
A nice outing by Montero
Ground ball up the middle, 6-3 ends the inning.
Build on that, Montero.
What is Abreu swinging at on pitch 7? The gamecast has that 2 feet outside? Anyone?
Blummer just said âswing mode activatedâ.
Blum is awesome btw - one of my favsâŠ
Floribama gets it done
I agree.
Heâs very knowledgeable but he doesnât overwhelm you with it.
And when an Astro does something poorly he can talk about it without sounding like heâs bashing them.
Spot on! Wonder if Ted will make 40/40 club - looking good for 30HR/30SB at present. The tired arms of August will be here in no time and I think he continues to rake and bake â man if there is a god, someone please sign Tuck up for the next 5 years.
Can we just have a stress-free ending here?
Nope.
Pressly again.
Ballgame!
4-1
Bielak did well at a time when they sorely needed him to.
On the heels of last nightâs shit show, the Astros show resilience (Bielak et al - not including RP) give up 1 hit over 8 innings. Pretty damn good response. Lets go get a few more pitchers!
Giving up run in a day game in July in that yard is pretty damn good.
Brandon Bielak isnât the most talented pitcher in the Astrosâ organization, but heâs performed yeomanâs work for the team in the past few years.
I always thought of him as AAAA, but he has proved me wrong this year.
