Astros/Rockets direct to consumer

I reckon they’ll black me out of the Twins, the Tigers, the Guardians and the Reds, too, while we’re having fun.

Don’t forget the Brewers.

Aw, hell, I done forget all about them goobersmooches.

Yep, I’m ready to shed DirectTV Stream here in Austin.

I think the Rockets coverage actually stops at my county line. Oh well, I probably wouldn’t have watched anyway.

I just got a T-Mobile phone to test out at work. Can you watch on any device or does it have to be specifically on that phone?

Any device but you have to sign up with the same email as the phone, if I remember correctly from when I had Tmobile

Great. I will happily go thru signing in again with the new account on 3 or 4 devices to save the $139 (or whatever it’s going to be this year).

Any device, and I don’t think that T-Mobile cares about my email address with respect to mlb.tv. If I recall correctly, you just follow the activation link when the promotion comes available and it all sorts itself out.

You are probably right, it’s been about 8 years since I had T-Mobile

FWIW, I have to use my brother’s email addy that’s associated with his mlb.tv account.

Get off my lawn

Can’t hear you. I’m listening to this dangerous rock’n roll music.

I’m watching the Cowgirls and drinking some wine from some disreputable outfit in CA.

Very disreputable. For awhile, it was a hell of a game last night. I’d like to think the vino had no small part in the outcome.

Here in North Carolina, we’re blacked out for Atlanta, Washington and Baltimore. I have mlb tv and you tube tv for my regular service. I’ve been happy with all of it but You Tube TV keeps going up in price. I am sure there are better options for my regular service.

My wife saw a story about YTTV offering a sports-only alternative something in early 2026.

That’s pretty much the only thing we use it for.

Kara will crucify me if we don’t have Hallmark movies during the holidays. So, I guess we’re keeping our YouTube TV as is.
