Astros @ Red Socks, May 16, 2022

Story hits one over the Monster off Maton to tie it at 3.

Chas with a two out double, maybe two feet from a homer to center field.

Castro strands Chas, striking out after starting 2-0.

Still 3-3, mid 8.

Martinez doubles in Hernandez off Neris and it’s 4-3 Sox.

Bogaerts crushes one to make it 6-3. Bad night for Hector.

Neris’ first bad game.

Had to happen sometime. Just put this in those 54 games you’ll lose every year.

They’re going to have to burn another pitcher here.

When the Astros tie it up in the top of the 9th I meant.

You did not take GIDP Altuve into account.

It’s so frustrating that he simply refuses to hit the ball where it’s pitched. He tried to hit a low and away slider over the monster with predictable results. So much for the new Altuve.

Not great at arithmetic either. His team was behind three runs, and he only had one runner on.

Chavistas think of arithmetic as a potentially destabilizing field of instruction.
