That was such a huge win for this team. To be able to rally together and pick up the slack from no Framber and that first inning. THAT was the team we have been watching for the better part of a decade. Gotta keep it rolling into KC

I’ve been meaning to say something about Caratini. Setting today’s bomb aside, he’s been a really, really good pickup. Good defense, almost always gives a really good at bat, just a really good, professional player. There are still some things to address this year, but, man, this is a solid catching tandem.

I think if guys can settle into regular work without pitching every day too much, they’ll be mostly fine. Abreu struggles I attribute to the long stretches without use. Hader got probably too much in the first week and then too long not used. Pressly, new role takes an adjustment. I’ve always liked Seth Martinez and hope he has a big year. Montero is an enigma to me, he’s so talented but I just never know what we’re gonna get. The other guys, I just hope they don’t get used in too many close games.
