Yep.
Several people noted that in the game and postgame telecasts.
Ridiculous.

I blame you for the shenanigans to close out the game. All of ‘em.

Jeebus…I leave you clowns on your own for one night, and all hell breaks loose. Highlight watching is gonna be fun this morning.

Be sure to wait 8 minutes between plays as you call someone in New York to get the full effect.

Condensed game on YouTube. Good lord.

A west coast game with over 300 posts. Well done, group!

Lost in the chaos: Hunter pitched well again.

Hung a breaking ball to jackass that cost him but he was very steady.

The young man has made nice progress this season.

Some say Shoeless Jose was the best hitter they ever saw.

Did you know Jeremy Pena copied his 4-feet outside and in the dirt swing?

I just don’t understand why you’re throwing a curveball on 3-2 anyway when you’ve gotten a strike a foot outside then a pitch Machado HATED right after that at the top on the outside corner. Throw another one up there a little off the plate and he probably comes out of his shoes and at best pops it up.

Just self inflicted dick-kicking instead.

I couldn’t agree more. You have him in frustration-chase mode. Why let him off that hook?

Or that sinker down and in that he missed by a foot last time.

If MLB gave a shit, there’d be two or seven articles today about what went wrong and how to improve things. But instead it’s just described as “a bizarre scene” by Altuve.

At some point, MLB’s new best friends are going to want things straightened out so that they don’t have to pay out money unnecessarily. That’s when things will change, but I don’t know if they’ll get better or worse.

Cut to presser with Manfred on crutches with a neck brace, black eye and an arm in a sling explaining that they’ll retroactively award a win to a team based on a heartfelt desire to get things right.

I’m convinced there were millions in prop bets that there would be no HBP in last night’s game.

Not to mention the odds on Altuve taking his shoe off. They probably lost their shirts on that one.

Yainer copied his: swing at anything above the shoulders approach.
