Good news :
Still 155 games left
Still have a winning record
All the high leverage relievers are well rested
We won’t see Odorizzi for at least 4 more games.

Why am I still awake?
I would like to see the Astros score a run or more in the 9th.
The current iteration of this team loses to the Mariners by 10 games in the West.
I sure hope the bats decide to wake up at some point soon.
Man, I am happy I went to bed 10:30ish.
Me too. My beef isn’t starting Odorizzi last night, per se, it’s why he’s still one of the starters in general. Why are we still talking about needing him because of injuries last season? Was he really the best option available this season? I got nothing against him, I’m sure he’s a fine fellow, but he is what he is on the mound.
And yeah, the bats are lost. Other than the 13-run outburst last week, this this team has been exceptionally inept with the sticks. Missing Alvarez hurts, but Altuve, Bregman, Gurriel, and Tucker have to step up. There is no reason this team should be scoring 0-2 runs per game.
The offense has been terrible no doubt. This doesn’t help though
Taking away that 13 run game:
Altuve 2 for 20
Tucker 1 for 22
Tucker has hit a few balls hard for outs. Altuve has been a train wreck with his “new approach”.
Might be time to move Altuve somewhere else in the order, wonder who’d get the lead off spot if he is moved.
Too early for that stuff.
