Hubby’s got a fantastic opportunity. It’s in Ohio, where I have a yon of cousins, but I’ll make it. It’s our next big adventure.

Why do so many batters bunt the ball up into the air?
I have an aunt and uncle too had to relocate to Cincinnati for the last decade of his career.
They really enjoyed their time there.

Thanks, it’s been along week plus weekend and I knew I was missing something.
Read somewhere the bat is supposed to “catch” the ball on a bunt play…
I think it would have been unwise to send him. But knowing what I now know…

Yes. In fact, I recall someone doing a drill of putting a glove on the bat but I can’t remember who

That visual should stick.
That makes sense. Good bunts look like the batter put the ball right where they want it.
