It’s especially egregious since it’s a free agency mistake. It might be the only one of those they’ve made in the Crane era. Hopefully it doesn’t end up being the case that they replaced one of the best (maybe the best?) FA acquisitions in Houston history with one of the worst.

It’s still pretty early in the season. Abreu may very well turn out to be a horrible signing but I think he is better than what we have seen so far. At least his history says he should be. It’s like he fell off a cliff.
