I’ll be around in September to talk to you guys about Abreu. All the shit he gets here is a main reason I stay away. Always interesting to see who the GZ whipping boy will be.

Took him a while to get there, but if he keeps up anything close to this performance, he’s finally the guy Click hoped he’d be.

Don’t sleep on the week Jake had.
He’s got his average up to .277 and got there displaying a little power.
Has to be a huge weight off his back.

100%. He’s starting to get me excited again.
Abreu hit over .300 last year and the advanced stats said that the power decline was related to the launch angle, not bat speed.
Also, his MO is supposed to be that he struggles in April and gets better as it heats up through Spring and Summer. I would give him some more time. The Astros have to do it, obviously.
