Astros @ Braves, 9/13/25

Reminding to see the pregame is worth it. They interview Cole about his game yesterday. Watching him watch his (former) Corpus Christi teammates celebrate his home-run on the first pitch is worth the price of admission.

Yes. The corpus clubhouse celebration was awesome.

After Cole saw that video postgame, he just said “I love those guys”

Bring this home, @BillyD .

Feel free to shout out a pitch for Brown to throw that might get Profar to stop fouling off pitches. Screwball?

Yainer! Huge lead by Profar but Diaz guns him down. Only second caught stealing on the year for Profar!

100 games behind the plate for Yainer on the year. Setting his career high.

That was a strike. Ump is inconsistent so far at the top. Above the zone got a strike call and top of the zone got a ball call.

Hunter is dealing, it looks like. Painting corners. Slider working. Fastball control looks good.

Heading to T2, no score.

Walker with the first Astros hit on the night.

Meyers walks moving Walker to 2nd

Diaz with an RBI single. Walker scores.

Peña, 2 RBI double.

Braves pitcher avoids the zone but when he is in there, the Astro’s are making him pay.

Yordon, who has gone ice cold at 0-12, strikes out for the second time in the game to end the inning. B2 coming up.

Jake covers so much ground in center, it makes the whole rest of the outfield look smaller.

And he makes it look effortless. Does not even look like he’s sprinting.

Altuve with the nice grab on the high hopper to his backhand and strong throw to end the inning.

He gets great reads off the bat, he has a great first jump, an uncanny ability to judge the ball’s route to its destination and is an effortlessly fast a fast runner. If he could only throw well.

Correa starts T3 with a double. Altuve follows with a single but Correa is held at 3rd. Sanchez pokes a fielders choice to 2b, Correa scores. 4-0 Astros.

Sanchez steals 2nd. 3-3 as an Astro now.

Walker with an absolute bomb to straight away center on a slow sinker. 431 feet. 6-0 Astros
