If Altuve is healthy and jaking it Espada needs to show some guts and bench him for a game for cause. It’s not like he is contributing right now.
I’m going to Friday and Saturday games in ATL. I swear if I have to witness losses in that fucking stadium with those fucking fans my head may very well explode. And then I’ll have to walk in to work with all my coworkers telling me how sorry they are that their team that had sucked ass all year pushed my team out of the playoffs and then further know that it was that series…and the fact that they pissed in our Cheerios…might actually make an otherwise shitty season tolerable for them. Fucking hell. It’s going to happen isn’t it?!?

I feel your pain.
I’m probably more analytics-positive than anyone else on this board. I fully understand the idea that you should use your best reliever in the highest-leverage situation.
But pitching in the 9th is a different beast. Some guys just aren’t cut out for it.

I thought Espada might use Abreu in the 8th when they were facing the top of the order. Abreu shit the bed against Clement, Schneider, and IKF. You can’t have a closer who can’t mow those guys down as a matter of course.
