Astros @ Blue Jays, 6/23/2026

Astros up 4-2 at the end of 5. Lambert pitched ok but his pitch count was elevated and he was tiring in the 5th so he was lifted for Okert to get out of a bit of a jam.

Highlight so far was Trammell’s absolute bomb to the upper deck, the third HR in a back-to-back-to-back T4. This is Cam in the dugout pointing to where it went.

Annnnnnnnd, De Los Santos leaves a changeup in the zone for a 2 Run HR to Varsho who’s been raking all day.
We’re tied up 4-4 B7.
Sumbitch.

The reaction by the booth was just as good as Trammell’s HR

As a former pitcher, seeing pitchers not be able to simply throw the ball to the fucking base infuriates me

Now, the Astros are finding new and inventive ways to give away this game.
The B8 is turning into an abject circus.

Sanchez with a Cam-esque challenge

Fuck you Pearson

Pearson is a fucking joke.

Can’t hold a 4-0 led?
Yeah, we deserve to lose.
Pathetic.

If it’s an error like that, the runs should be twice as earned.

After the top of it 8th the results of the bottom of the frame were inevitable.

Glad I didn’t waste any time on this one.

Trotting out guys that got lit up the day before in the late innings so they can get lit up the next day again in the late innings is an interesting strategy. Exacerbated by the starters shitting themselves before even 5 innings, too.

This team has like 11 more days in a row before a break and the entire bullpen is already a mess.

Bases loaded catcher’s interference scores a run.

This game is stupid. Stros down 1, bases loaded 1 out

Tie game.

I’m pretty sure they would be a .500 team or better right now if Hader wasn’t hurt to start the year

Bunting in front of Vazquez is certainly a decision

Going to the 11th.

Just get Altuve to third with one out. He can score on a pop-up to 2nd base.
