A sad reality to me: we are not going anywhere with a AA pitcher in the rotation. This team has needed pitching for two years. JV’s coming back healthy, if he does, is not enough.

Agree completely. I’m impressed as hell at how far Bloss has come in so short a time. But at this point in his career, he’s not an MLB pitcher and should still be developing in AA or AAA.

I’d rather that he not absorb so many beatings that his confidence cracks. He needs more development time.
