Astros at Marlins, 8/14/23

Not to pile on, but his pitch framing metrics, whatever stock you put in those, are abysmal.

For what it’s worth, sabermetrics also say where you bat guys between 2 and 5 doesn’t matter very much as long as those are your 4 best hitters. The main thing is to cluster your best hitters one after another whether that is 1-4, 2-5, 3-6 whatever.

Thanks Doyce. I was going round and round trying to figure out how to frame that. You did it much more succinctly than I likely would have.

Now that I agree with. You score runs by bunching hits together.

I often look at Dusty’s lineups and think, “hmmm the best hitters in this lineup are hitting 3, 5 and 7 or 1, 3, 5” or something and think, “wouldn’t it be nice to stack those guys a bit more”

IT WAS GOING TO HIT YOU JEREMY

“defensive misstro”

Nothing is more frustrating that getting three hits in an inning and not scoring.

Framber, COVER FIRST YOU FUCKING GOOBER.

It is not. Dry and underseasoned.

Singleton is pretty spry over there.
