And those poor Astros that didn’t get hits against Miguel Rojas will now face fines in Kangaroo Court.

I didn’t think pitchers could bat?

I love hotdogs, but the true celebration of summer is a good ratatouille. Made one today accompanied by a nice muscadet. My youngest, who fell in love with the dish at a highly recuperative meal in the Montmartre told me I “nailed it.” Vanilla ice cream and Fredericksburg peaches followed.

Tomorrow will be chili dogs.

That was mighty satisfactory.

Growing up, crab chilau was the tradition of the day. And homemade vanilla ice cream.

Well that was enjoyable.

Not the most insightful or original comment, but using a single reliever in a game started by Lance is quite a coup.

Largest Dodger loss in the history of the stadium, by the way.

Also not insanely insightful, but if this is the Lance we see more often than not, other teams are going to get very, very uncomfortable.

Such a shame that the Dodgers lost that game in the top of the first and then had to spend 8 more innings watching a celebratory batting practice.

hell yes.

Huh!!

My wife and I watched the annual 4th of July Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest this afternoon. Simply watching Joey Chestnut consume 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes started to make her nauseous.
