It’s Big Beautiful Cap Day.

Dear god, it’s only the 8th?

While someone has to finish the game, that doesn’t mean it has to be two of your best bats. Whitcomb could already be in for Altuve, and Dubon could have moved to third for Paredes instead of centerfield for Meyers. That said, Jake is also one of those guys and deserves a break, too.

Man, that’s finding things to complain about.

Paredes has gimpy hamstring

I disagree. The Astros are already down Alvarez and Pena. They can ill afford to lose anyone else of significance in an 18-1 game.

Like nodody’s seen you talk about a game.

THE WORST GROUNDBALL OR PASSED BALL AROUND A CATCHER I’VE EVER SEEN IN THE HISTORY OF BASEBALL…

I’m just gonna enjoy an 18-1 lead and not get twisted about late-game substitutions

Prostate cancer awareness day. July 4 is always prostate cancer awareness day.

18-1 mellows me out and soothes my troubled soul.

Oh, I’m enjoying the Astroe beating the shit out of the Dodgers. That never gets old.

I also smoked a tasty brisket and made homemade peach ice cream. It’s been a good day.

It was a thorough beating.

Top of the 9th. Lots of baseball to play.

It most certainly was. Even better that it occurred in front of the Dodger faithful.

They better be some charming motherfuckin’ fireworks.

I don’t think I’ve seen a pitcher like this before.

Todd Kalas: Yainer, who is aggressive against real pitchers, decides to be patient against Miguel Rojas.

Sure you have. It’s just normally in coaches’ pitch.
