Astros at Braves 8/21/22

Wouldn’t mind Tucker taking a bag here

Peña joins the Klub in the 6th

He’s safe

That’s weird.

Carapazza fucked up a call.

Good to know Carapazza is incompetent both in the field and behind the plate

Top 6.

Morton pitching.

Bregman…fouls off cutter…swings and misses oitside FB…lays off low inside change…FB way outside…curve outside…swings and misses outside curve. K.

Tucker…lines single to center.

Pena…inside sinker called strike…(pick off throw)…curve way inside…swings and misses a curve ( inside half)…swings and misses curve outside.

K. Tucker initially called out on steal attempt, but overturned on review.

McCormick…curve strike outside part of plate…curve ball way outside in dirt…grounds curve into 1-3.

Mid 6. 2-2. (Morton at 97P.)

That was fucking weak, Chas

I can’t remember an Astros team with worse plate discipline. I don’t follow the Braves so I don’t know if they’re consistently this disciplined, but during this series the difference between the two teams has been stark.

Bogusevic the best dresser on the Astros broadcast team.

Yes, Brantley’s example never spread. I read an interview with Rod Carew, and he said most players have no ability to hit for maximized angles and home runs
