Just to add to what they were saying about Springer hitting into tough luck, his babip (batting average on balls in play) coming into the game was .228. His career is .306, and I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) that a low babip is an indication you’re hitting in bad luck.

Or you can just use your eyes and brain and just SEE he’s been hitting in bad luck, I guess.
