I love what they are doing to try to stretch out Verlander. What a tricky management process; evaluating the value of the regular starts that keep a pitcher sharp vs. the value of him being strong/capable for the postseason vs. the mechanical limitations of a pitcher in the first year coming off of TJS. I’m glad I am not having to make those decisions…

My guess is he has a lot of input as they make those decisions.
