I understand the sentiment, but that is not the vibe I get.
The starters are hurt/young/ not pitching deep.
The bullpen is taxed/inconsistent.
The offense is poor.
They aren’t complacent. They’re just not a very good team.

Very, very true. I think Brown and Maton are starting to show some symptoms of exhaustion.
For all the injuries and wear on the pitchers, they have generally pitched well enough to win a lot of games.
Our offense has been unable to take advantage of opportunities for a while now. And with Alvarez, Altuve and others out, we’re just not powerful enough in our lineup to just beat our opponents.
That was pretty nasty to get Dubón.
1 hit in our first 10 at bats.

You said it much better than I … just want to see some urgency (the last 14 innings in Oakland have been putrid). But like you say, there is no guarantee its going to get better
Over the last month and a half or so the offense has been top 8 in baseball and the pitching has been bottom 8
Look at the last two series and tell me that is still true at this time.

I’ll miss a lot about the A’s in Oakland, the ridiculous foul territory dimensions will not be one of them.
If we get healthy, we’ll start getting “lucky” too. Seen that before.
