So many things have to go right to win a World Series. The beer and fajitas are a part. A significant part.
Good to know. I will endeavor to expand my knowledge of Houston-area fajita restaurants.
The original Ninfa’s on Navigation is the place, if you can get there. They invented fajitas, fer cryin out loud. They are convenient to the ball yard, and as Jim has pointed out, they are demonstrated effective in the Postseason. The best fajitas I’ve found are at Eva’s on Kuykendahl, just north of FM 1960.
Years ago a nephew - an avid Cubbie fan - planned to catch a game in Miami, so I joined him.
With the Marlins leading, a chant started down the LF line and grew in volume as it “waved” toward home plate.
“Let’s go Cub-bies!” (They did comeback & win.)
Heard that chant again as I watch the top of the 6th inning this afternoon.
(1:37:32) after Dubón’s pivotal hit and during the beginning of Chas’ AB.
“Let’s go, Astros!”
Outstanding!
