Could it be he is getting a bit tired? He has not had this role before for an entire season.
I donāt know if he is tired. Is that what you are thinking? When it comes to matters of baseball, particularly pitching, I trust your instincts much more than mine.
Heck, I do not know. What I do know is he is not āfucking around.ā Every inning he pitches is high leverage, high pressure, and he is being used often. I do not know if he is tired, but I would not be surprised if I learned he is.
Damn today is a good day. Astros win. Ribs look fantastic, beans, coleslaw, and Mrs Hawk made a good looking fruit pizza with fresh peaches.

Oh, I see. You didnāt like my game zone description of his pitching ups and downs. Sorry but āfucking aroundā gets playfully tossed around a bit on here. Hell, Iāve seen you say as much about Altuve. Anyone with a brain knows Abreu was trying his best to get outs.
This is a huge point in the season. If they can keep pace and get reasonably healthy again, they can make a run.

Yep.
I do not think I ever said he was āfucking aroundā because that implies not trying. I have been intensely critical of his approach and lack of strike zone discipline.
