Astros @ Angels, June 20, 2025

Even though Hader only threw 9 pitches, Sousa in for the save.

Trout on 2nd.

Joe Espada got on the Sousaphone.

Mark Gubicza on the LAA broadcast called that the “spaghetti move” and “as close to a balk as you can get”

Anyone heard of that? I never saw a good replay of what the pitcher did.

Ward k swinging

Didn’t he throw 20+ yesterday, and his 2nd inning “wasn’t a bottle of wine”?

d’Arnaud groundout to 3rd. 2 out.

Bennett “John Phillip” Sousa!!!

Adell pops foul to 1st! Winner!

Not really one of those games that was inevitably shaping up as an Astros win.

Tonight was infuriating, but it did not suck

I meant the ending of last night’s game.

Unfortunately I was at a bar for a friend’s birthday that can’t show Astros games thanks to streaming rights. But from what I saw in the mlb app, Mister Libka had a pretty miserable game.

That last batter Abreu faced, looked like he struck him out 4 times.

Glad you weren’t watching. The amount of shit you would/could have broke is almost limitless

When I said “ump review” I really meant “Ump Scorecard”

Maybe I’m just a homer, but if it’s not 1+ runs in favor of LAA I don’t trust my eyeballs anymore

The only, and I mean only, consolation is that we entered into an extra inning contest, albeit not a long, drawn out affair.

The move was just a simple inside move, nothing special IMO. I think the key is that it was a called play and they picked it at a good time bc Pena was going to try and steal a bag there.
