Astros @ Angels, August 2, 2020

Does he ever not?

Injuries, Dozens of walks, and 4 1/2 hour games are brutal, I agree, but I just decided that if the Astros were playing baseball this summer and the games count then I’m going all in, regardless. I think MLB had to attempt to play a season this summer (especially with the NBA and NHL playing) and while it hasn’t been pretty they really had no choice. It has been fun to see the rookies step up. Ready for Altuve to get it going.

Honestly, I don’t think they had to do anything.

And Manfred, instead of learning from the few sports leagues that are doing it safely and right, just said “FUCK IT, PLAY BALL!”

This shitty, unprepared version of baseball is definitely better (as a fan) than no baseball, but without any safeguards and with basically no concern whatsoever for the health or well-being of the players, it’s a pretty blatant money grab from all sides.

How anyone can think Manfred is fit to lead the MLB is completely beyond me at this point.

He’s failed baseball at every turn and shows literally zero signs of leadership.

Was that really necessary?

I’m in too, because I’m just that way. But it’s still painful to watch.

It’s kind of like the baseball season. No, not necessary. But it’s there and I’m wired that way too.

If it is on, I care who wins, but if it is cancelled today, I won’t give a damn. The season is a farce, and playing the season in the midst of an unchecked pandemic is borderline criminal.

Check out this “policy” on team hotels:

Mozeliak demand the press cover up the players going out in the interests of I ddn’t know “MAGA” maybe.
