Astros @ Angels, April 9, 2022

Man. Trout did not miss that one.

He loves the ball down and that pitch was way too good with a 1-2 count.

Stanek thought he’d sneak the FB past him after all sliders.

Diaz can’t make a play, HPU blows strike 3

Not even close

Strike 4 swinging ends the inning.

Now need a pair.

They were going to have to score two anyway so let’s go.

This is not the Alex we were looking for.

Looked different from last night. Looked like a 2021 swing.

Yordan pounded that shift tonight.

2 hits rarely dents the scoreboard, much less the win column.

I liked it better when we were undefeated.

161-1, I guess.

I’m officially back on the fuck Dusty Baker train.

That lineup was idiotic, and Goodrum hitting 3rd is so dumb it seems like Dusty might’ve put money on the Angels tonight.

I blame Apple

No one hit, so Goodrum’s batting position was immaterial. The decisions are confounding on many levels

I imagine this was discussed earlier but it seems one of the features of the Click Astros
is they forego the sweep and rest their best players every time they can. Got us to the World Series last year but, like a lot of new shit, is unbeautiful and anti-fan.

That lineup was a joke. It was service for the Angels.

Point of order, this wasn’t for a sweep.

Did someone post this yet?

Looks like the stros are getting the short end every game.

Those 2 to Ohtani and Trout stood out during the game. Both were retired but you don’t like to give those two any help.

Overall that seemed to be a well called game.
