If Escobar simply runs in stride it’s an easy score and a tie game with the go ahead run in scoring position, one out. I don’t fault the base coach for not predicting the runner tripping 20 ft from the plate.

I understand 3rd base coach has to make fast decisions and sometime there isn’t a right or wrong. Second guessing does no good.

So I bought some new shoes, traditional rope alpargatas, made in Spain. There isn’t a left and right shoe. It’s kinda weird.

You can just take a marker and draw R and L on each, that’s what I usually do for all of my shoes mainly to save time.
Although I myself just bought some cutarras and I guess I’ll have to mark up the insole.
I suppose they’ll just naturally form L/R over time. But the marker ain’t a bad idea.
