Just a fly ball.
Caratini intentionally walked to load the bases for Singleton…
Singleton got a call.
Good God, this is miserable.
Big Jon. Big Bad Jon!!!
Wow, should have k…
Singleton with a 2-run double!
Big Jon!
Heyward intentionally walked to load em up for Dubon…
JHey could get us another couple runs.
Holy shit. I figured if we kept telling timeless tales it had to pay off.
I had a good feeling about that ab even after he went 0-2.
Or Dubon.
Good job Singleton!
Dubón grounds out 6-3
But the Astros lead 3-1 headed to the 9th
I really digressed there.
I only served that comment reflexively as your thoughts brought back memories of my grandma, Hanna. I suppose that’s what we called her because our child brain-to-mouth couldn’t say Gramma. Hanna was my paternal grandmother who smoked 2+ packs a day. As kids my brother and myself would hide her cigarettes in a juvenile attempt to “rehabilitate” her. She vollied back, early and often, with depression-era mayonnaise sandwiches, the horror of which, has scarred my life ever since. Her life was curtailed by lung cancer the year Brett Favre won his Super Bowl. MUCH more about me and my grandma, than you, yours and the suggested fro.
Thank you Astros for scoring some runs!!
I don’t understand that move. I’d have much rather faced Heyward with a base open than Singleton with them loaded.
But for a missed strike 3 call. I will take it.
The Astros’ hitting coaches need to set up a JUGS machine that only throws sliders and sweepers low and away on the outside corner for both Yainer Diaz and Jeremy Peña.
If I were a pitcher, I’d keep throwing them until they show they will not swing.
They should stand in the batter’s box in a straight jacket.
