Angels @ Astros, August 24, 2020

Framber is slowly bleeding.

Single up the middle plates a run, Trout to 3rd.

Altuve couldn’t knock it down. Sigh.

don’t make it a gusher

What a fucking shit show

Framber has thrown 3 curve balls right down the fucking middle in ahead counts this inning.

Bleeding is a kind description for what he’s doing.

another hit, another run.

Tucker spiced it up by juggling the ball before getting it back in.

He’s lucky that ball didn’t end up on the tracks.

Same for the pitch he threw Rendon.

Pus pitches.

And a hanging curve for strike 3.

I suppose it’s too much to ask for the Astros to score again.

I don’t follow it as close I should, so I ask everyone’s opinion on just how effective the extreme shift actually is. I seem to not like it at all.

Middleton (RHP) pitching

Tucker 0-2, 1-2, F9

I especially don’t like it when it doesn’t work.

Yuli flies out into the nook to the right of the scoreboard. Adell had an unsure route to the ball.

If Yuli just pulls it 1 degree more…

ā€œThe Numbersā€, according to ā€œPeopleā€, say it has been a net benefit for the Astros. That’s all I can tell you.

It can be very frustrating though.

Brantley 4-3.

It’s 5-4.

Sneed was warming. Framber …

Framber still in.

Upton 5-3

Simmons 0-2, Ks swinging on filth in the dirt, 2-1 completes it
