ALDS Game 1: White Sox at Astros

FUCK. YES.

No sir. He checked to 3rd and Vic Carapazza rang him up correctly.

Those two gibbons in the booth can’t even correct their idiotic observations with replay going directly in front of them.

Gotta do more work against Giolito tomorrow.

Right all pitches are now change-ups

I’ve actually seen a gibbon in the wild. It’s rare to see one.

I hope the offense takes its boner pills and gets its bats hot for tomorrow!

As long as boner pills doesn’t become the new frito pie

A 7up?

I had stepped into the kitchen to check my soup and that’s what I get for relying on the broadcasters for information.

That really was a great play by Altuve to end the game.

I heard the radio guys say today that apparently Larussa is leaning toward Cease for Game 3. Is Rodon hurt?

If I were Larussa I would throw Rodon at us at every opportunity.

Rodon’s velocity dropped precipitously at the end of the year. No one has said “hurt” yet, but folks are wondering.

If you were LaRussa you’d be passed out in your car.

McCullers pitched like an ace today. I hope he builds on today.

Rodon missed time in August with arm soreness and, as Jim said, his velocity hasn’t been the same since he came of the IL.

Mark and I were there that day.

For those who haven’t seen it yet:

Brian McTaggert post game#1 note:

The Astros have played 120 playoff games in their history.

They have scored 487 runs.
They have allowed 487 runs.

PS: I looked, what’s the source for team playoff stats?
